The first statue representing a comic strip character was erected in Brussels in honor of Frankin. It was the statue of Gaston Lagaffe, erected 100 meters from the comic book museum.<\/p>\n

Since then, if Gaston disappeared to be renovated, a sculpture Boule and Bill created by Roba took place in 2000 at the corner of the Avenue du Heymbosch and the Avenue van Engeland, a bust of Herg\u00e9 is exposed Place de Theux in Etterbeek, commune where Herg\u00e9 was born (at 34 rue de Theux) and the Smurfs created by Peyo are enthroned at the entrance of the Galerie Horta.<\/p>\n
