La Crypte Tonique is a publisher and bookshop, entirely dedicated to images, whether literary, mental or the plastic arts, and everything that goes with them. Modern works stand alongside older creations, copies jostle original versions, the dead rub shoulders with the living and the profane and the sacred sit side by side. La Crypte Tonique can be found in the centre of Brussels, and its stock, swap shop and publications department take up three floors. Philippe Capart coordinates it all.
