Standaard Boekhandel is a Belgian-Flemish retail chain, owned by NV Zuidnederlandse Uitgeverij since 2002. It mainly specializes in retailing books, but later diversified its operations somewhat by offering CDs, DVDs, newspapers, magazines, comic books, cartography, travel guides, greeting cards, board games and stationery. Some stores also sell National Lottery items (such as scratch cards).
As of 2017, there are one hundred and forty outlets. These are spread throughout Flanders and Brussels, with several stores in major cities.
