The 48H BD is the festival of comics, manga and comic books, all over France and Belgium. With 300 000 participants each year and a large, family and eclectic public, it is a resolutely popular and festive event, with the same approach as, for example, Partir en livre or the Fête de la musique. And in 2023, the 48H BD will celebrate its 11th anniversary!
It is also a response to the challenge of democratizing reading. Over the years, the event has also aimed to get out of the places dedicated to books and to reach out to distant and excluded audiences.
